About Us

I grew up in Florida and moved to Minnesota in 2012. My wife and I met in Minnesota that year and got married in May of 2014. We now have two daughters who were born in 2016 and 2019 and they are the absolute best! In 2018 I graduated from Oak Hills Christian College with a BA in Leadership and Ministry. My grandfather was a pastor and my dad is still currently a pastor, being in and around ministry has been something I have experienced my whole life, and I love getting to partner with several different ministries to help advance God's Kingdom. A few things I love to do include reading, watching college football, and hanging out with friends around a fire.

I grew up in a Christian home in northwest Indiana and lived there until I moved away for a girl; I married my sweetheart in 2010 and have lived in Minnesota ever since. We both were significantly involved in short-term international missions during our teenage years and God used that to cultivate a deep passion for discipleship and the worldwide church. We now work full-time in ministry and love that we get to expose our four children to God's vision for His church around the world. It's a privilege to serve on the board for Engaged and to help support local ministries overseas serve God right where He has planted them.

I grew up in Washington and moved to Minnesota shortly after high school. Devon and I met here, then got married in 2014. We have two daughters who are wild and fun. Spending time as a family outside, cooking together, playing games or just being silly is one of the best things. Engaged International is a full family endeavor for us. I love the example that our girls get to see of God's Kingdom working for the greater good of his children.

I worked in ministry for 20 years before switching careers to pursue my other passion—Lego! My wife, Lindsay, our son, Michael, and our cat, Kitty Kitty, live in Hopkins, MN, and we enjoy playing Monopoly and other games on family night. My ministry experience ranged from working with at-risk youth in an after-school program to running a camp where I led college-aged leaders as they served children ages 8 to 18. During this time, I also had the privilege of leading students on mission trips, both stateside and in Mexico, to serve other communities. I'm excited to join the Engaged board and support the incredible ministry that Devon Harris is leading.
